If your motivation is to develop and deepen your communication skills to support others, then you have come to the right place. My services aim at supporting professionals within the helping sectors (i.e. teachers and social workers) and all other individuals (i.e. coaches, parents, and scout leaders) wishing to make a positive impact on those around them.
Do you want to make positive changes in your own life?
If your motivation is to get unstuck and make changes in your own current life situation, then you have found the right place. Through one-on-one, family, and group counselling sessions, we will work together to find a positive way forward. What I do and why I do it.
The services that I offer mirror Motivational Interviewing's (MI's) respectful way of being with people in that moment of their process of change. They mirror MI's empathetic means of helping people discover, and enable, their inner resources to successfully make changes in their life.
The What.
Motivational Interviewing (MI), developed by Steve Rollnick and Bill Miller, is a counseling approach which helps you create the conditions that are essential for developing and enriching a positive relationship with a person in your life. MI's respectful method of communication, counseling style, and spirit make communication with others more effective.
The Why.
Being able to educate, coach, motivate, and inspire others is something that I find stimulating and inspiring. It is important to encourage and support others in their journey of change and highlight their strengths, as well as help them to further develop their counselling and communication skills. As a leader in training and coaching helping professionals and organizations in MI, I am very passionate about, and believe, in MI and its positive impact.
